Jackson, after brushing all the cereal off his chair onto the floor 

Me: “I’m gonna make my coffee.”

Jackson: “Can you make a cappuccino? Please Mommy, please!”

Jackson, on a walk: “It’s quite hard work, isn’t it?” 

Jackson, heard through the monitor after waking up from his nap: “Oh dear. I forgot to put Soldier Teddy Bear in his crib. Oh dear. I forgot!”

Jackson:  “Why are you tired Daddy?”

Justin: “Because we did all that running and jumping. Are you tired?”

Jackson: “Nope.” 

Jackson: “Daddy, can you put me to bed?”

(Runs upstairs) 

Me: “It’s hard for me to bend down.”

Jackson: “You’ll be fine.” 

Me: “No, that’s not how we play in the bath.” 

Jackson: “Is it funny?”

Me: “No, it’s not funny.”

Jackson: “But it’s a bit funny.” 

Jackson, finding a penny: “Ohhhhh, a golden coin!”
